Some of you might be wondering where the name Miracle Monster Designs came from.
Four years ago my first son was born 10 weeks early and weighed 1 lb. 11 oz. He spent the first 11 weeks of his life in the NICU at our local hospital. When he was 11 months old, we participated in our first March of Dimes "March for Babies" to help premature babies. We had to come up with a name for our family team and since Braden has always been active, strong and full of life, "Miracle Monster" seemed to fit, and it has stuck ever since! He is the inspiration in all that I do so it seemed only fitting to name this exciting new adventure after him!
In early 2009, we added another 'monster' to the family. Our second son was born 12 weeks early after 4 weeks of hospital bedrest and weighed in at 1 lb. 6 oz. He spent his first 10 weeks of life in the NICU.
I feel so very fortunate to have both of my miracles at home with me and know how truly lucky I am.
